The MachXO4™ series expands Lattice Semiconductor’s ultra-low-density FPGA product range with advanced features designed for flexibility and efficiency. These devices combine low power consumption, embedded flash memory, high I/O density and instant-on capabilities to meet the demands of modern systems.
The MachXO4™ series is manufactured using a 65 nm non-volatile low-power process and is available in two variants: a high-performance (HC) version operating at 2.5V/3.3V and a high-performance (HE) version operating at 1.2V. These variants are functionally and pin-compatible.

On-chip flash memory with user flash memory (UFM) capacity up to 448 kb
Instant-on capability with a fast boot time of less than 5 ms
Hot-swap support, with leakage current as low as 350 µA and no power sequencing required
Compact package with a high I/O-to-LUT ratio, featuring up to 382 I/O pins
On-chip hard core functions: SPI, I²C, timers/counters and oscillators
Efficient design enabled by the latest generation of tools and chips – wide range of logic density from 896 to 9400 LUTs; chip performance up to 150 MHz; Lattice Radiant software provides enhanced support to improve design efficiency
Highly flexible and powerful I/O capabilities – supports I/O standards from 3.3 V to 1.0 V; Supports hot-swapping, with leakage current as low as 350 µA; supports mixed LVCMOS and LVTTL voltages; pull-down resistors included by default, reducing the need for external components
Industry-leading low power consumption and smallest package size — extremely low static power consumption, as low as 1 mW, with compact and small packages, as small as 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm
