Recycle Microchip Line Driver Products:Solutions For G.fast/xDSL/PLC Applications
Microchip has developed a full range of line drivers for G.fast, xDSL and PLC based on the HV15S bipolar SOI process, including key models such as the LE87281, LE87282, LE87285, LE87286, LE87271, LE87100, amongst others. These serve as core front-end signal amplification components for broadband access gateways, smart meters and power line communication (PLC) equipment, and are suitable for applications such as residential broadband CPE terminals, building communications and smart grids, whilst balancing high-speed broadband transmission with signal driving capabilities in noisy power line channels.
I. Product Details
This series is divided into two main product lines: G.fast/xDSL broadband line drivers and PLC (Power Line Communication) line drivers. The G.fast/xDSL models support a maximum bandwidth of 212 MHz and are compatible with mainstream broadband standards such as G.fast, VDSL2, ADSL2+ and other mainstream broadband standards. They are available in single-channel and dual-channel differential amplifier architectures, feature built-in broadband amplification units, and offer excellent power consumption control. The fixed-gain versions simplify peripheral matching circuits and are suitable for broadband in-home gateway equipment. The dual-channel model LE87282 supports two independent G.fast signal transmissions, making it suitable for multi-port broadband terminal designs; The single-channel models LE87281, LE87285 and LE87286 are designed for entry-level home gateways; whilst ensuring signal output power, they reduce the thermal load on the entire unit. They operate within the industrial-grade temperature range of –40°C to +85°C and are primarily housed in VQFN packages, saving PCB layout space.
PLC line drivers, typified by the LE87100, are specifically optimised for power line carrier channel characteristics. They can drive line impedances ranging from 12Ω to 100Ω and are compatible with power line communication protocols such as HomePlug AV2, G3-PLC, PRIME and other power line communication protocols. They support a single-supply voltage of 8 V to 16 V, with externally configurable gain, enabling stable signal output even in power line environments with high levels of noise interference. Often used in conjunction with the PL360 and PL460 series PLC modems, these devices are widely deployed in power communication nodes such as smart meters, photovoltaic monitoring systems, building automation and fire alarm systems, enhancing the transmission range and interference immunity of carrier signals.
The devices as a whole offer outstanding common advantages; the SOI process delivers low distortion and low static power consumption, whilst integrated bias configuration options allow power consumption levels to be switched according to line conditions, simplifying system power supply design. The devices incorporate comprehensive overcurrent and over-temperature protection mechanisms, enhancing the reliability of communication terminals during long-term online operation, making them the preferred solution for broadband access and power line carrier AFE (Analogue Front-End) applications.

[Core Recycling Advantages]
1. Outstanding Quotation Advantages, Maximising Inventory Value
Leveraging global component supply chain channels and real-time spot market data, we conduct comprehensive multi-dimensional assessments—including part scarcity, batch, packaging, original manufacturer packaging, condition and quantity—to ensure our quotations are competitive. We support individual price negotiations for high-value components, without price pressure or arbitrary valuations, helping clients convert idle stock into cash flow.
2. Extensive Range of Recyclable Categories, Covering Multiple High-End Application Components
We accept signal chain ICs, isolators, MCUs, power semiconductors, SiC/GaN devices, RF chips, sensors, memory, motor drivers, power management ICs, optical modules, connectors and more. We support the recycling of components for high-reliability applications such as industrial systems, automotive ADAS, 5G communications, AI servers, drones, LEO satellites and humanoid robots, with priority given to the acquisition of automotive-grade and military-grade original, undamaged components.
3. Professional technical assessment team, providing accurate and reliable authentication
Staffed by senior component engineers, we verify original manufacturer markings, laser codes, date codes, moisture-proof packaging and tape-and-reel condition to distinguish between original, loose new and refurbished components; we support preliminary assessment via photographs, sample testing and on-site inventory verification to minimise information discrepancies, ensuring transparent assessment results and avoiding blind quotations.
4. Flexible Transaction Models, Efficient and Stable Payment
We support multiple delivery methods, including on-site collection, customer delivery, courier dispatch and cross-border settlement via our Hong Kong warehouse; settlement options are diverse, including bank transfers and corporate account settlements. Payment is arranged promptly upon completion of component inspection and acceptance, shortening the cash flow waiting period and alleviating the financial pressure caused by excess inventory.
5. Confidentiality and compliant, secure transactions
We strictly protect clients’ inventory information, BOM data and supplier details, ensuring confidentiality throughout the entire process. We only handle legitimate and lawful sources of goods; transactions are documented and processes are compliant, ensuring goods do not flow into unauthorised channels. For large-scale stock clearance projects, non-disclosure agreements can be signed to meet the confidentiality requirements of factory stock clearance and project wind-down.
6. One-Stop Service, Reducing Customer Disposal Costs
Customers do not need to unpack or sort items themselves; for large volumes of idle stock, we can provide on-site assistance with stocktaking and inventory checks. Scrap materials unsuitable for resale are processed for resource recovery in accordance with environmental regulations, balancing inventory realisation with green recycling, and sparing customers the hassle of liaising with multiple parties or handling items in batches.
[Recycling Delivery Process]
Step 1: Submit a list of materials and initiate a recycling enquiry
Customers should compile details of the materials to be recycled, specifying model numbers, brands, quantities, batch numbers, packaging types and condition, and attach photographs of the physical items, labels and pallets. Submit the list to the Mingjiada assessment team via WeChat or email; for loose items, customers may simply take photographs to request a quote, whilst for large-volume stock, an on-site assessment can be booked in advance.
Step 2: Professional Assessment and Issuance of a Recycling Quotation
Assessment staff verify the material details and provide a preliminary quotation based on real-time market conditions; feedback is provided within 24 hours for standard materials. For scarce materials, automotive-grade components and high-value chips, we may arrange for samples to be sent for quality confirmation before finalising the price. Any objections can be discussed and negotiated; there are no hidden charges.
Step 3: Confirm the Transaction and Agree on a Delivery Arrangement
Both parties confirm the price, quantity and acceptance criteria, and agree on the delivery method: for the Pearl River Delta region, we prioritise arranging staff to collect and inspect goods on-site; clients from other regions may choose to send items via courier to a designated warehouse; cross-border materials may be settled via our Hong Kong warehouse. Once the terms of the transaction have been confirmed, a recycling agreement may be signed, clearly defining rights and responsibilities, acceptance criteria and settlement milestones.
Step 4: Delivery of Materials and Warehouse Verification
On-site delivery: Mingjiada staff arrive at the site to conduct an on-site count, carry out spot checks on appearance, packaging and labelling, and verify the packing list;
Postal delivery: The client packs the goods with appropriate anti-static protection, attaches the packing list and dispatches them; the warehouse registers the goods upon receipt;
Upon arrival, the quality inspection team conducts a re-inspection, verifying model numbers, batches and condition, and separating conforming from non-conforming items, whilst simultaneously providing feedback on the inspection results to the client.
Step 5: Reconciliation and Settlement of Payment
Once the inspection is confirmed to be correct, a reconciliation statement is issued; both parties confirm the statement and arrange payment in accordance with the agreed settlement method; should there be discrepancies between the condition of a small quantity of materials and the information previously submitted, adjustments are made through simultaneous communication to ensure clear accounts and transparent communication.
Step 6: Document archiving and closed-loop service
Upon completion of the transaction, the documents are archived. Should the client subsequently have additional idle stock, they will be entitled to priority assessment and rapid coordination services, establishing a long-term and stable partnership for stock recovery.
